About Us

Arcade East

As part of London College of Fashion’s move to Stratford, the Digital Strategies and the Arts & Events Programme have developed two new spaces that will play host to a range of teaching, learning and showcasing activities through the lens of digital practice and innovation.

Arcade East’s programme will transform Mare Street’s canteen into a vibrant public congregation space from summer 2017. In collaboration with the Digital Learning Lab, it will enable showcases, discussions, screenings and other events. Each summer, as part of the Stratford Arts Programme, it will host a themed season of events with a focus on digital practice and innovation. As well as working with students, staff and researchers to present and experiment with ideas, we will be partnering with internal and local stakeholders to create an exciting range of community-facing initiatives including summer schools, pop-up kitchens and activities.

The programme is free of charge and is supported by events, screenings, workshops and performances.
